Sunday Services start at 10.30am
All Age Worship (2nd Sunday): an informal modern service for all, based on a combination of words from the Bible, songs/hymns and presentations on a theme.
Holy Communion (1st and 3rd Sundays): Sung Eucharist comprising hymns and an anthem and a sermon.
All Age Communion (5th Sundays) Where there is a fifth Sunday in a month we have a Joint Benefice Service where we are joined by the congregation of St. Mary Magdalen, Knighton. The venue for this service alternates between out two churches. See our newsletter for further details.
Sung Morning Prayer (4th Sunday): Morning Prayer from Common Worship with hymns. Four times a year this is replaced by Matins which is a traditional service with hymns, address and choir-led singing based on the Book of Common Prayer. During these services, Church Club is held in the Hall next door.
Children are always warmly welcomed at all of our services. During Eucharist services there will be the opportunity for you and your child to spend time in the Welcome Area during the sermon and intercessions if you prefer not to remain in church throughout the service. Packs with a story and related activities will be ready for use and there will usually be someone from the congregation available to come out with you to share the pack contents with you and your young ones. The suggested age range for these activities is up to about 6 years old but older children are welcome to join in. Activity bags are available for babies and toddlers.
